Software Services

Custom software development in Adelaide for businesses that have outgrown off-the-shelf tools. Web apps, mobile apps and systems integration, as fixed-price Ignite and Amplify builds or ongoing Apex work. Either way, you own the code.

What custom software do we build in Adelaide?

We are a custom software development team in Adelaide. We build web apps, mobile apps and integrations for businesses whose work no longer fits off-the-shelf tools. Every build is written to your requirements, your workflows and your users, and the code is yours when it ships. If you are not sure which of these you need, the section further down sorts it by who will use the software.

The results are on the record. TP Records grew from a sole operator to a team of 13 on a platform that took over the admin behind each new participant. Deliver It swapped monthly mapping subscriptions for route software it owns, finished 2.5 weeks from enquiry. Playground123's own developers built their asset management platform straight from the blueprint we designed.

How does a software project run?

Scope it properly

Every project starts with a requirements document. We define what is being built, how it works, and what is out of scope before a line of code is written. For an Ignite or Amplify build, that document becomes your fixed-price quote.

Build it in sprints

Development runs in sprints with regular check-ins against the agreed scope. You see progress as it happens and can give feedback before decisions become expensive to undo.

Hand it over clean

You get full documentation and the codebase, and Amplify builds carry a 12-month warranty after launch. Your team or any competent developer can pick it up and keep building. There is no dependency on us unless you want one.

What do we build with?

We choose the right tool for the job, not the one we are most comfortable with.

Scoped properly, built well, handed over clean. Whatever we build, the code is yours.

What software have we shipped?

Builds still in daily use, from NDIS plan management and transport to council asset management.

Which software service do we need?

Start with who will use the software and where they will be. Most builds are one of these; some combine two, such as a mobile app that writes straight into your existing systems.

Your team at a desk

Web App Development covers internal tools, customer platforms and SaaS products used from a browser.

People in the field

Mobile App Development builds for iOS and Android, including apps that keep working offline on patchy signal.

Data retyped between systems

Systems Integration connects what you already run so data moves on its own.

Hours copying between screens

Questions about software projects

It depends on the stream, and every Ignite or Amplify build is quoted at a fixed price before work starts. An Ignite prototype costs $25,000 to $50,000, and a production Amplify build typically starts at $100K. Both prices come from a written requirements document, not a guess from a first meeting. Ongoing work through an Apex partnership is billed monthly rather than at a fixed price.

A working Ignite prototype takes four to eight weeks, and a production build usually runs three to six months depending on scope. Small, well-defined jobs can be quicker: Deliver It's route software was finished 2.5 weeks from enquiry. We scope every project on its own, so the timeline in your quote reflects the actual work rather than a generic estimate.

Yes, outright. The codebase, the repository and the documentation are yours, with no licence fees and no dependency on CodeFish to keep things running. If you want us to stay involved after launch we offer ongoing support, but it is never a requirement.

Yes, and we do it regularly. Before we quote, we run a technical health review: we read the code, check how it is deployed, look at what is tested and talk to whoever built it if they are still around. You get a plain account of what is sound, what is risky and what it would cost to keep building on it. If the code is too fragile to extend safely, we tell you before you pay for any build work, not halfway through it.

Amplify builds come with a 12-month warranty, so anything that does not work as specified in that year is fixed at no cost. After that you choose: keep us on for support and new features, hand it to another developer, or take it in-house. Because the code and documentation are already yours, none of those options needs our permission or a migration. If you want the software improved alongside your other systems month by month, that is an Apex partnership.
